This year, we will have several one-day or two-days pre-conference workshops and seminars, with lots of hands-on experience and in-depth content. The registration fee for either of the seminars is 300 RON (~70 EUR) and it is separate from the attendee fee for the ITCamp conference. The workshop fee includes free lunch and coffee breaks for all attendees.

Implementing, Configuring and Managing System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager Service Pack 1

Trainer: Adrian Stoian

Adrian Stoian is an IT Trainer and Consultant at TechReady, specializing on systems management and virtualization solution with a focus on System Center family. Adrian is a Microsoft Certified Trainer since 1998 and enjoys explaining how to plan, implement and operate IT solutions.

Workshop overview

Attend this 2-day pre-conference seminar to learn about the new features in Windows Server 2012 Hyper-V and System Center 2012 Virtual Machine Manager Service Pack 1 that and how can you use these features to implement a private cloud infrastructure. The seminar will consist in presentations and demos performed by the speaker. We encourage you to bring your questions.

An introduction to ASP.NET MVC 4 and some of its new features

Workshop overview

Attend this one day pre-conference workshop to get to know Microsoft’s modern solution for testable, easily maintainable and scalable web applications, ASP.NET MVC 4. Also get a taste of some of the new features, from the world of web, it brings along with the latest version. You will learn how to develop a web application from scratch, its inner workings, some best patterns and practices and extra options to offer a more complete experience to the end user. There will be presentations and demos (25% of the time) and hands-on excercises (75% of the time).
This training is mostly intended for junior programmers, or programmers with experience in .NET technologies but who are new to ASP.NET MVC 4.

You will need to bring your own laptop with Visual Studio 2012 (Ultimate / Premium / Professional / Express for web)

Remus Pereni is a software architect working with TSS Yonder, a company specialized in software development, application management, outsourcing and legacy software migration that is part of the Total Specific Solutions group, Europe's largest Vertical Market Software company. He is extremely passionate about technology with an eye for detail and a constructive approach to problem solving with extensive experience in software architecture and development. He built his first web site 17 years ago and became so addicted to the Web and Internet that almost all his projects since then had some kind of relationship to this two outstanding environments. In present his working on implementing as many of the new and healthy developments in this fields to web and mobile web applications.
